The Betrayal By Sheila Hendrix Book Tour Stop

Review and thoughts

That was the most amazingly powerful story between two brothers that I've ever read. I thought I was going to love it and I did more than I thought I would. It lived up to my expectation. I had never seen 2 guys especially 2 brother like Matt And Zack they absolutely loved one another so much. And I could n't help but ooh and ahh at the thought of them taking car eof each other and having each other's back. There was so many things that I loved about this book especially the powers Matt had and developed, the best thing about all of it was the descriptions. Sheila was really spot on with the book all together, you enjoyed the book learning about the brothers and their past. I actually liked Zack more than Matt I have no idea why but there was something about him, I can't quite put my finger on it. It might have been the way he handled the situations or just the fact that he tried everything in his power to protect Matt even though most of the time he would have gotten himself killed if he had acted upon his anger. It was a fast paced book, and very entertaining.

I loved every single minute I got to spend with the brothers. I did also like Shane, Bryan, and Tony. Especially Bryan he was the joker out of all of them. I am glad the author decided to put someone on who would some how bring some joy and laughter into the whole thing that went down. When I read books like these I sometimes wonder if powers are real, although I am a bit skeptical about it but sometimes you just can't control your thought's I wish they were cause keep in mind, they could actually come in handy. The book actually reminded me of Supernatural how Dean and Sam always get along like Matt and Zack did. They are both tough on each other and also caring. Which I just love you can't ever go wrong with a bromance. I am so looking forward to the next book. I cannot wait.

Interview

Why did you choose the title The Betrayal for the book? Was that the original title?
The Betrayal is the original title of the book. I came up with the name because I wanted a name to pretty much say what the book is about. The Betrayal is about two brothers who have depended on each other their entire life and the demon that want to destroy that, hence the name, The Betrayal.

And how did you come up with the story?
Actually I came up with the story after having an awful nightmare that stayed with me for days. I wanted to show that family can love each other, and sacrifice themselves to save each other instead of just a mundane story. If people in the world was more like the brothers in my story today, the world would be a much better place to be.

When did you decide you wanted to pursue a writing career?
As long as I can remember I've wanted to write I just didn't think I could but I finally decided that win or lose, I had to try. I don't want to look back on my life one day and say I wish I had done this or done that, but I want to be able to say, I did it! Its my passion and I had to follow it through.

Who are your favorite authors?
My favorite authors are Nora Roberts, Heather Graham, Sherryl Wood, Sherrylin Kenyon, Lisa Jackson, Melissa Mayhue, Lynn Kurland, Lara Adrian and Shannon K. Butcher. Those are just a few. there are so many more but those are the top of the list.

What do you love the most about being an author?
Developing new characters and coming up with the story. I love everything about being an author.

Which three words best describe you?
Independent, Strong willed and very sensitive.

Where can readers come in contact with you?
