The Probability of Miracles Wendy Wunder

Cam, her mom, and sister move out to Promise a city that is known to creat miracles. Her mom packs everything up and moves there in hopes that her daughter will find her miracle and beat her fight with cancer. But Cam is hesitant she doesn't believe that anything will save her she has accepted it and understands that her life will be cut short. She doesn't believe in miracles, magic, let alone hope. To her there is a scientific answer to everything. But when she moves to Promise things definitely got better she feels great, she checked off all the things from her "Flamingo List" that she made with her best friend Lily who also has cancer, she finally knows what it's like to fall in love after meeting Asher. So many good thing coming her way that she can't deny that maybe just maybe, there is such a thing as hope and believing.

Its definitely an emotional story, when I started this book I didn't know what to think I wasn't completely lost in it because it's a strong subject. I never ever pick up books that revolve around this type of subject it's just something that I never thought I would do. My go to is always fiction for example, chick lit, vampires, fairies, werewolves, ghosts, etc. But books about someone who has cancer to me is like non fiction because it real and someone somewhere actually went through it. This book made me feel sorrow, pain, and depressed in a way cause I didn't want anything to happen to Cam. She was very sarcastic, funny and brutally honest. She was pretty unique and she was a powerful character. She took everything day by day, she loved her family so much and I loved her for how she was. She seemed so mature and accepting, there were times when she was kind of badly behaved but nothing to serious. She did things to try to help her mom and sister, but her plans blew up in her face most of the time. Most importantly she had good qualities that made you like her so much more.
Asher is the kind of guy you would want to have in your life. He is there in a moment of need, kind of like a superhero. You will fall head over heels with this guy.
Alicia was also great. At first she sounded like the kind of person who is only interested in money but later on you warm up to her after realizing that that's not her at all. She's the total opposite.
Perry is an amazing little sister I felt bad for her cause she really felt out of place and sometimes like she wasn't as important as Cam. I really felt for her but she loved her mom and sister so much either way.
This was a good book it's a bit of a tear jerker just saying so you know what your getting into. I give it a 3.5/5 or 4 star rating. Not sure yet. The only thing I was iffy about was the talk about religion because some thing's were said that I didn't like very much. But oh well its okay. The book was good thats what counts.Happy reading :)!
