Eliza by Joyce Proell Book Tour Stop

Review and Thought's

Elizabeth Douglas who now goes by the name Eliza Daton is in hiding after her husband wanted to kill her. Now she is building a new life and hoping that she can continue staying safe and continue living her life in peace. But soon she meets these guys and each of them want to be in her life one way or another each with a catch. As she tries not to be caught or found soon her past catches up to her and she doesn't even know what she is going to do, all she knows is that it's probably not going to be good at all.

I really enjoyed everything about this book especially Eliza's character she was very loving and was very motherly to the little kids she took care of. I loved the kids to they sounded so darn cute, I love babies! Another thing I liked about Eliza is that she was strong and she didn't let anything get in the way of her happiness, her situation for which she was hiding didn't make her bitter, having to always look behind her shoulder didn't make her any less wonderful and wanting to continue being happy. That's how every woman should be, if someone is in that situation they should do what Eliza did. Immediately get yourself out of it they should not stay with someone so horrible if they are getting abused in any way. She just continued with life and tried to make the best of a bad situation and that is the best you can do. It was the smart thing to do.

I thought the writing was perfect, I didn't think anything was missing. I loved this book alot I didn't think I was going to enjoy it as much as i did. And I am kind of surprised. Not because I thought It was going to be a bad book but because I tend to not like books about abuse cause they are extremely painful to read. But on the contrary this was the most amazing book I've ever read on this subject, the plot was extremely wonderful and I will have to say that I loved the book entirely even though I don't really read these kind of books but this was an exception and I'm glad I read it. It was definitely worth those sleepless nights I went through just to find out what was gonna happen next. Joyce made all of Eliza's emotions and feelings feel so realistic you could almost feel them bouncing off the pages, and I really loved that and also her creative writing. The twists and turns were also extremely good it made you want to keep reading I couldn't even put the book down. For that I think the book deserves a rating of

Author Bio

I laughed when my husband suggested I write a book. Me? What did I know about writing?
Yet the notion held possibility, so I hatched a plan. a year later, I sent off my first completed
manuscript and promptly received a score of polite rejections. Bruised but undaunted, I forged
ahead, a new plan in hand. Later, armed with the knowledge acquired from writing classes,
seminars and the help of fellow writers, I finished my second story. Eliza is that story.
